Strengthening our community – sharing our “Gifts”!

Our chapter is working alongside the Rotary Club of Kalamazoo to volunteer with the Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity for a hands-on community outreach and networking event.  During our lunch break we will have an ornament auction to raise funds for the NAWIC Education Foundation. After volunteering we will relax at a local brewery for Networking and Holiday Cheer.

Please register here with the chapter first!

Please complete the Habitat Online Orientation by clicking here by December 4, 2015.

After selecting the link above you will need to:

Step 1: Complete and submit the: Background Check Consent Form
Step 2: Review the: Orientation Presentation and take the Volunteer Test after reviewing the Volunteer Handbook and Policy Manual (on the same page down at the bottom).

On Volunteer Day:

8:30 AM -3:30 PM : After meeting at the warehouse we will travel to the worksite.
We can carpool from the warehouse to the worksite and tackle our tasks for the day.  We will have a one hour lunch break and have lunch together at a nearby location. We will do our NEF ornament auction during lunch.  Please bring a wrapped ornament to auction to each other at lunch for NEF fundraiser.

Please consider coming out, participating in any manner which you are comfortable, have a great time and feel great about your contribution! Please review attire requirements on Habitat website.  Safety glasses are required and will be provided if you do not have your own.

Guests are welcome to join us!

For those who are available afterwards we can go to a local brewery for Networking and Holiday Cheer!
