Join the Grand Rapids NAWIC chapter for an event called: What can NAWIC do for you AND Speed Networking, October 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM.

This will be a fast-paced event where we will get 5 minutes to network with individual’s one-on-one. After the time is up we will rotate around the room and greet a new networker.

✨ What to Expect:

Come Prepared. Here are a few things that will help you get the most out of this Speed Networking Event:

• Have an “Elevator Speech” ready – Prepare a short statement summarizing key elements of your work and educational history, and possibly your future career path.
• Bring business cards
• Think of some questions – here are a few possible questions you can use:
  • What is your favorite part about your job?
  • What made you decide to come to this event?
  • What inspired you to start doing the work you’re involved with now?
  • What are some strategies that you’ve found to be helpful for your recent work?

Prior to starting the speed networking portion of the meeting, we will be having dinner, which is included in the cost of the event.

This is a great opportunity to practice your networking skills, as well as make new connections. We hope you can join us!
