The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to celebrate
Women in Construction (WIC) Week March 2-8, 2014.
It is also a time for local chapters to give back to their communities.
Locally, the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Chapter of NAWIC is planning a fun
construction-awareness activity with the kids at the Boys and Girls Club on March 5.

Across the country and globe, the focus of Women in Construction Week is to highlight women
as a visible component of the construction industry. One way to emphasize WIC Week
is to hang a poster in your office during the week of March 2-8.
